Karisma Hostel Ipanema is located at Ipanema, Rio de Janeiro, in a safe residencial street, just three short blocks from Ipanema Beach and next to the best bars, grossery stores, restaurants, stores and nightlife of Rio.

Cool atmosphere and friendly staff. Hostel Ipanema is run only by local native brazilian people, who speak English and Portuguese and hold a good knowledge of Rio and all its activities.

Easy transportation from and to everywhere, lockers with individual safes in the rooms, very clean and organized, 24 hour internet, wireless connection, fully equiped open kitchen, tours booked thru the hostel like Hang Gliding Tandem Flight, Tour at the Favela, Favela Funk Party, Christ Statue, Sugar Loaf, City Tours, Tijuca Forest Hiking, Samba Shows, Football/Soccer matches at Maracana Stadium, Ilha Grande bookings, Guided Bicycle Tours and many more.

Directions

From the airport:
From outside arrival terminal, take the shuttle bus named 'REAL' and ask the driver to drop you off at Ipanema next to the street FARME DE AMOEDO from where you walk until the street Barão da Torre. Turn right on Rua Barão da Torre and go to the number 177.

The Hostel Ipanema also arranges airport pick-up at a lower cost comparing with the taxis at the airport.

From the bus station 'Rodoviária Novo Rio':
From outside arrival terminal, take the shuttle bus named 'Real' or regular city buses numbers 127 or 128 and follow the same instructions as for the airport above.
Taxis from bus station cost aproximately R$30 on the meter.
