Recently voted Western Australia's Best Hostel at the prestigious 'Golden Backpack' awards in Sydney for the second year in a row(!!!), the Witch's Hat is a beautifully restored Federation style house found close to the heart of the city.

'The Hat' is one of Perth's most popular backpacker destinations. Relaxed, clean and modern facilities enhance the homely feel of this character residence.

The Witch's Hat is located on a quiet back street of Northbridge, just a short walk to the City Centre and the lively Northbridge entertainment hub.

We offer a variety of facilities here at The Hat. Comfortable lounge area, 24 hour check in, Security lockers, Air-con for the summer and quilts for the winter, fully equipped laundry, freshly made beds prior to your arrival, internet, dormitory or private rooms.

Directions

From the City Busport catch the BlueCat (free city bus service) and get off at Francis St. (Stop #11). From there it's a 5 minutes walk to our hostel.
From the airport there's a shuttle service to our hostel called the Perth CONNECT. It delivers people into the city after every arrival and will cost between $15-$18. They will deliver you to our door!
From the East Perth station (Adelaide/Melbourne/Sydney trains) it's a 15 minute walk.
From the Main Perth station catch the BlueCat (free city bus service) and get off at Francis St. (Stop #11). From there it's a 5 minutes walk to our hostel.
