Cabot Trail Hostel Cape Breton
Cabot Trail Hostel is situated just in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park at Pleasant Bay, 5 to 6 hour drive from Halifax. Pleasant Bay is nestled between the Highlands of Cape Breton and is a nature-lovers haven. We are close to many excellent hiking trails and surrounded by wildlife. The sunsets are said to be some of the most spectacular found anywhere in Nova Scotia. We offer Free pickup Tuesdays & Fridays 7:30 pm Acadian Lines bus stop, Vi's Restaurant, Whycocomagh, N.S. with three nights & whale watching.

If you are traveling by car, you can tour any section on the Cabot Trail and be back at the hostel before dark. Because we are located halfway around the Cabot Trail, this is easily done. Information on areas of your interest are available at the hostel.
Our price includes your bed for the night, all bed linen and duvets, hot showers, use of our facilities, BBQ, luggage storage and Internet access.

This hostel is unfortunately the only game in town on the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton. The place is friendly enough but the service is poor, the place is extremely noisy and the private room is dirty, dusty and terrible. There was also no key offered for the private room which was baffling. They do not provide a receipt to you when you check in and they charge extra for using a credit card. Overall a disappointing place in a beautiful part of Cape Breton run by an aging stoner. |
