We offer a choice of two types of roomsâ€"small and private or a little larger, great for socializing. The bunk beds have thick IKEA mattresses and are fully adult-sized, so no bumping your head on the top bunk as you sit on the bottom one. All rooms are comfortably furnished with cosy plush chairs, tables and stoolsâ€"and some even have sofas in them! Each bed has its own shelf and night lamp for convenience.
Every guests gets a large locker in the room with a key and a padlock. Each guest is also given a key to their room for extra security.
Our new western-style bathrooms are ones you would expect to find in a four-star hotel. Theyâ€re equipped with massaging shower heads and 24-hour hot water.
Our hostel is also centrally heated in the winter months.
To all the guests visiting us, we offer a free morning snack, free internet, free linen, free 24hr coffee and tea, a free shot in our bar andâ€"last but not leastâ€"no curfew, no lockout and no check-out time.
Keep in mind that weâ€re not just a regular hostel; we have multiple common areas, a private bar, a lovely Beer garden, free billiards, free ping pong and more!
Our full bar offers you billiard room, separate smoking and non-smoking room, over 1500 watts of dancing power, right underneath the hostel. All for you to use for free.
Our doors opened in May 2003 as the First Backpacker's Hostel in Krakow.
Weâ€re very proud to be able to serve our travelling guests with the highest standards, and hope that you will choose to come and check us out yourself.
The multi-lingual staff at our24-hour reception desk are always ready to answer your questions. When you want to experience the local culture, we have all the information you will need to visit Wroclaw's best sites, including a free map at check-in. We sell guide books, phone cards and sodas on the spot. If you're bored with sightseeing we can also organise some other activities such as paintballing, AK47-shooting, go-karting, white water-rafting and more.
Weâ€re located less than 100 metres from Wawel Castle and weâ€re right in the middle between Krakow's main square and the Kazimierz district. Weâ€re within walking distance of all the main clubs and pubs, so you can easily and safely walk home after a long night. There's an ATM just 10 metres away and the best thing is that there's a 24h â€everything†store right around the corner!
The ground-floor rooms have a theme of continents; we have a South America room, Europe room, Asia room and an Australian hallway. These were all done by a local Polish artist. All other rooms are decorated with photos from the PHOTOhype gallery, which we permanently display in our bar. There is also a gallery of travel photos in our main hallway, done by a local artist.
