Portua Residencias, your home away from home, established twelve years ago, can accommodate your needs, ask Lulu or Myrna, your hostesses about their single, double or dorm rooms. Prices are affordable and special arrangements can be made for extended stays.
When you get here great mountains welcome you; La Husasteca, the Carro de la Silla and Garcia Caves AS WELL AS 'El Forum de las culturas', ride along the Santa Lucia lake listening to old stories nd to the Mariachi music. There are 3 new Museums, all of them interesting; an amazing sculptures exhibition of the 2501 migrants, The Fundidora Park where the Steel museum takes place and the guided tour takes 1:30 hr. Visit Cola de Caballo Falls and hike up Chipinque Hill to see the magnificent view of the city below. The Planetario Alfa is a modern scientific museum you won´t want to miss or see a movie at the Omnimax Theatre. Other museums include; Mexican History Museum, Marco and the Glass Factory. Afterwards eat at the many taste restaurants and later dance the night away at one of many dance clubs at the romantic heart of old downtown Monterrey.
Portua Residencias brings you Mexican culture because you'll join us for our holiday celebrations, traditional foods and more. Share also in our religious celebration and be sure not to miss having some Tequila at La Boca Lake. Come have fun!
We are located in a quiet neighborhood on the northeast side of the city close to Universidad De Nuevo Leon. The main bus terminal is located ten minutes away and the airport is forty minutes.

Directions
The bus station is on Colon Ave. so you should walk out the bus station and walk down Colon Ave to east till the Cuauhtemoc Ave. (it's 2 blocks) and take a bus (Ruta 1 San Nicolas Tec a green bus) Rembember you are going to the north, telling the driver to drop you off in the Anahuac Popeye restaurant bus stop because you need to go to Colonia Anahuac, San Nicolas, Nuevo Leon. Then, after getting off the bus walk two blocks north until the 'Benavides' drugstore and this is our street, Ramon Lopez Velarde. Turn right and we are 2 ½ blocks further ahead it's the 321.
As a recommendation you should get U.S. Dlls or Mexican pesos so you will be able to buy a telephone card and use the phone cabs, next you can call us wherever you are in Monterrey and if We are available can pick you up.
