Description

Built in 1908, HI- Winnipeg's Ivey House International Hostel is a Victorian style house recreated as a home away from home for travellers. The hostel is centrally located and within walking distance of Winnipeg's many historical, cultural and natural attractions. Now with Free WiFi Access! Most of our rooms are now equipped with cool air conditioning (unless it is winter)!

HI-Winnipeg features a full kitchen, bike storage, internet kiosk, coin laundry, locker rental, spacious sundeck with barbecue and welcoming friendly staff!

HI-Members can take advantage of our Summer Weekly Specials, starting at $126/wk for accommodations!

We do have Family / Private rooms starting at $40/night.

Directions

From the Central Bus Station, exit on Portage Avenue. Turn right and walk west to Maryland, turn left and walk south to the hostel. (approx. 20 min by foot).

From the Via Rail Station, exit on Main St., cross street and walk along Broadway to Maryland, turn left and walk one block south to the hostel (approx. 30 min by foot).
