Active Adventure

Larsen Bay Lodge is located on the SW side of Kodiak Island. Kodiak is known throughout the world for its high population of Brown Bear! The Mountains, Bays and Rivers make for breathtaking scenery! The Karluk river is a fishermans haven. King Salmon, Sockeye, Silver and Steelhead are among the species available on the Karluk. Hunting in Larsen Bay is an adventure never to be forgotten! From Sea Ducks to Sitka Blacktail Deer to the Mighty Kodiak Brown Bear!

Typical Day

Each evening our guides meet wiht you to discuss your options for the next days activities. Among some of the options are: Fly out Fishing and Kodiak Brown Bear viewing. Saltwater Fishing for Halibut, Black Bass, Salmon, Cod & Crab and spectacular marine viewing for Whale, Sea lion, Seal and a variety of Birds. Karluk River rafting trips for incredible Salmon Fishing & Wildlife viewing.

We cater to all group sizes and dynamics. We are a family run operation and your activities may be tailored to your specific group needs.

Sleeping and meals

The Larsen Bay Lodge offers deluxe suites to private cabins with incredible views of the Bays and Mountains! Relax and enjoy in front of the fireplace in the main lodge after an exquisite meal prepared by our Chef. Suites and Cabins all have 2 Queen Beds, Private Bathrooms and balconies. All buildings are equipped with Satellite tv and telephone.

Policies & Restrictions

Smoking is not permitted in the buildings, all buildings & suites have balconies.

$900/day/person includes: Lodging, Meals, River & Saltwater Fishing, Wildlife viewing, Fishing Guide, Fishing equipment, Fish cleaning and packaging material.
