Trondheim Interrail Centre

Trondheim InterRail Centre (TIRC) is a summer hostel run by students and we provide the cheapest and weirdest bed and breakfast in Trondheim. TIRC is located at The Student Society in Trondheim, Norway.

Only open during the Norwegian summer holiday.

The sleeping facilities are beds in one of our large mixed dorms, so you\'ll spend your nights here amongst many other travellers. We don\'t offer any other types of rooms like single or double rooms. Payment is upon arrival, and please let us know if you arrive late, or else your reservation will be cancelled at 21:00 PM.

Between 07.00 and 11.00 we serve breakfast; fresh bread, cereals and of course tea and coffee. We have a nice café with reasonable prices. There you can meet students from Trondheim, other interrailers, backpackers and travellers.

Trondheim InterRail Centre also offers free internet access, newspapers, concerts, brochures of other interesting places in Norway, and timetables for trains and busses in Norway.

You can use your own sleeping bag or rent sheets from us.

Dinner is served from 5pm to 7pm for only 50NOK. We do not provide kitchen for our guests.

Directions

From the train station:
A 15 minute walk south to the cathedral (Nidarosdomen). Cross the Elgeseter Bridge over the Nidelva River and you're there. Can't miss it!

From the airport:
Take the buss (flybussen). Get off at the stop named Studentersamfundet. Congratulations, you have found Trondheim Interrail Centre!
