Buzios Adventure Hostel

Located in the heart of Buzios, on the main avenue -600 meters from the center- and at the access of the Tartaruga Beach (600 mts), offers comfort, privacy and a dedicated personal attention.

Buzios:
Buzios is a great travel and diving destination. It is located 180km from Rio de Janeiro known locally as the 'Cidade Maravilhosa' (wonderful city).

Accommodation:
We have eight rooms available and the private ones are equipped with air conditioning, colour TV and mini bars (services that must be paid as extras).

Activities:
Guests can choose from a variety of travel options and activities in and around Buzios, including tours and trips, airport transfers, buggy rental, schooner rides, dive operations, windsurfing, surf and kitesurfing lessons and more.

Scuba Diving:
The Buzios Adventure Hostel has all solutions for divers who want to visit the peninsula, or those who want to combine their travel with Arraial do Cabo and Cabo Frío.

Policies:

Cancellations and changes without any charge or penalty must be made at least 72 hours before your scheduled arrival in a written communication, quoting the booking reference number, either by Fax or e-mail. Please note that your cancellation has been acknowledged and accepted only when you receive a cancellation confirmation.
Partial or total cancellations with less than 72 hours in advance or no-shows (failure to check in without prior message or cancellation sent to us) will be charged with 2 (two) nights. [Minimum stay].

The balance due must be paid on arrival, at the check-in.
Post arrival cancellations are not allowed.
Those policies are not applicable for Carnival, New Year and Easter. See below.

Rules for New Year (27-DEC-11 to 04-JAN-12), Carnival (17-FEB-12 to
25-FEB-12) and Easter (04-APR-12 to 08-APR-12) Bookings:

MANDATORY: Five (5) Nights for Carnival and New Year, and four (4) Nights for Easter.
The hostel requests FULL payment after making the online booking to secure your bed / beds; room / rooms.

After making the booking for New Year, Carnival or Easter get in touch with the hostel via e-mail to get instructions on how to proceed.

There is no reimbursement in case of cancellation.

Directions

The hostel is in the main avenue, at the entrance of the Tartruga beach, very close to the Rua das Pedras -Stones Street- (600 mts), the main commercial street of the city.

By Inter Urban Bus:

At the Rio de Janeiro Bus Station (Rodoviaria Novo Rio), take the "Autoviação 1001" usualy every two hours from 6.30 to 19.30.
After a journey of approx. two and a half hours, ask for the driver to stop at the "Tartaruga Beach" Stop (Last stop before arriving to the end stop), in front of the Pousada Kybalion Hotel.
Then ask in the Pousada Kybalion reception desk for the accommodation in the Buzios Adventure Hostel.

By Car:

Two hours and a half from Rio de Janeiro (GIG).
Take the "Linha Vermelha" to Niteroi, then cross the Rio-Niteroi Bridge (BR 101), and at the end take the road to the "Região dos Lagos".
In Rio Bonito, take the "Via Lagos" way (PAY) until the "Atlantic" gas station at the "São Pedro d'Aldeia" entrance.
Then follow the "Macaé" city signs (RJ 106) and at 14km take the first right turn, marked by the "Búzios" sign.
Carry on until the Tourist Information Portico and then turn left.
Follow the principal avenue and, arriving to the centre, the Pousada Kybalion Hotel is located at your left.
