Kaya

KAYA guest house , is a large white villa, built on secure private grounds.
There are 10 double and single rooms, most of which have private bathrooms.

Rooms are large and spacious and equipped with ceiling fans, air conditioning and mosquito nets. The rooms have access to a large common room.

Breakfast is inclusive and meals of authentic Tanzanian cuisine and international dishes are provided on request. Access to a kitchen is available for guests wishing to prepare their own meals.

KAYA's close proximity to the supermarket, post office, cinema, internet cafes and a variety of local fast-food and up-market restaurants, makes this place both convenient and trendy.

A central bus station is less than 10 walking minutes away, placing it in close reach of public transport.

Directions

Public transport:
From the airport take a dalla-dalla to New or Old Post Office bus station. Change over to a dalla-dalla going to Mwenge. Disembark at the'Sayansi', Institute of Science and Technology bus stop, which is about 2km after the village museum, Makumbusho bus stop. Walk about 300 meters down Kajenge Rd. Take the left turn on Botswana Street (opposite Colobus Hotel) where the sign KAYA is to be seen. The house is about 100 meters from there.

KAYA Taxi:
We reccommend that you let us collect you from the Airport. Currently Taxi drivers are being comissioned to deliver customers to other hotels and deny knowing the direction to KAYA or purposely mis-direct our customers.
Our fare is $20 per carload (4 people) in line with local taxi tariffs, also advertised at the Airport.
Airport Taxi:
From the airport, request to be driven to Kijitonyama Sayansi, located on Old Bagamoyo Road. From Sayansi, 50 meters to the right is Kajenge Road. Drive 200 meters down this Road towards Kijitonyama School, "Shuleni". On your right, after the 3rd Road rump, is a sign with KAYA written on it and a small street sign with Botswana Street (opposite Colobus Hotel). Take this right turn and drive 100 meters towards KAYA.
