Montana Youth And Family Hostel

Montana Youth and Family hostel is located in beautiful surroundings on the hillside of Mount Ulriken.

Included in the accommodation price is also: a varied and healthy Breakfast buffet, excellent parking facilities and wireless internet.

From the hostel you will get a magnificent view over Bergen city centre. If you are up for a hike, hiking trails start just outside our doorstep. Rent one of our bikes in order to explore the city and the coast on two wheels!

Enjoy making your dinner at our fully equipped guest kitchen, relax in the TV-lounge, have fun playing foosball and table tennis, or work out in our gym studio. Time to relax? Make a break in our garden overlooking the city!

Both individual travellers and families may feel like at home here at Montana hostel.

NB: Check-in in low season (Oct-Apr) is only possible until 10 pm.

Directions

Local bus nr 12 ('Smiberget/Montana') is a convenient way to get to the hostel from the city centre. You can take the 12-bus from the central bus terminal, or from a place called "Festplassen" on Christies gate, which is a bit closer to the tourist information and the harbour.

The trip will take 15 to 20 minutes. Don't hesitate to ask the driver to announce the Montana stop for You. When you exit the bus, you'll be about 200 metres from the youth hostel. Look for a nearby sign.
