In Victorian times, George Clarke was a prominent Lexingtonian whose house reflected his reputation as a builder and a gentleman. If he were to visit today, he would feel right at home at our b&b, unwinding in the glow of a gas fireplace, and perhaps enjoying the antics of the resident cats before retiring to his room. After relaxing in the period tub with its whirlpool bath, he might enjoy a snack or a glass of port before sinking into his luxurious four-poster bed. In the morning he would enjoy a gourmet breakfast served, in appropriate attire, on china with silver and crystal. He might also explore the life of Lexington today, with downtown restaurants and shops close-by. Come visit us at George's house -- it's a trip into the past, with the amenities of the present. Jessie's Rereat: Intimate room with antique walnut queen bed, gas fireplace, private bath with an antique maid's tub.

Augustine's Drawing Room: Elegance at its best, this room is furnished with a mahogany king bed, gas fireplace, private bath features the Calvarie Rain Bath, warmed towels.

Ermina's Chamber: Our most romantic room features a Victorian mahogany king draped canopy bed, gas fireplace. The private bath has an Ultra Thermo-Masseur jet bath tub and warmed towels. There is also a trundle under the bed.

George and Julia Suite: A magnificent room with high Victorian mahogany king bed, gas fireplace, adjoining private sitting room. The private bath has the Ultra Thermo-Masseur jet bath tub and warmed towels.
