Celebrate every season's beauty
Our "inspected and approved" accommodations are suitable for both leisure and business travelers. The inn is centrally located to all of the Pikes Peak Region, only minutes from spectacular Garden of the Gods, famous Pikes Peak, the well-known US Olympic Training Center, the US Air Force Academy, Focus on the Family and the IAFF Fallen Fire Fighter Memorial, just to name a some. Convenient off-street parking is also offered. Our guests love relaxing in our many common areas; the beautiful living room with fireplace and wingback chairs, elegant front parlor with TV, VCR and DVD, verandahs with white wicker furniture, porch swings, views of our cottage garden and the mountain foothills, and our "secret" garden with gazebo and fountains.

Built in 1902 by Mrs. Isabel Holden, the widow of a prosperous Colorado Springs businessman, the Holden House is a lovely Victorian inn featuring three adjacent homes decorated with family heirlooms and elegant antiques. We're located on a quiet tree-lined residential street, only a mile from downtown, near historic "Old Colorado City" and just a few minutes from Manitou Springs.

Enjoy romantic Victorian accommodations
The inn features five luxury guest suites, each appointed with one queen bed, sitting area, private bath, in-room gas fireplace, oversized bubble bath "tub for two", color/cable TV, telephone/modem, cd player/radio, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, snuggly bathrobes, private label amenities and your own refrigerator. We also offer 24 hour coffee/tea service and our famous "bottomless cookie jar" in addition to our afternoon wine social served between 5-7 p.m. each evening. Our full gourmet breakfast includes fresh fruit, freshly baked muffins and a main gourmet entree which includes one of our award-winning signature dishes such as German Puff Pancakes with Spiced Apples, Southwestern Eggs Fiesta, Ruffled Crepes Isabel or one of our many specialty recipes. We're happy to adapt to special dietary needs if notified in advance. Your breakfast is included in your room rate and served in our elegant formal dining room at 8 or 9 a.m. An optional breakfast en suite is available for an additional "Romance package" charge and our "early risers" breakfast can be made available for those with a morning schedule to meet.

Carriages ride offer astep into the past
Our resident InnCats, Mingtoy and Muffin do not permit guest pets. For the comfort and safety of our guests, we do not allow smoking, candles or incense inside the inn. Smoking is permitted on outside porches only. Our 2 person per room limit is geared toward adults and we are unable to provide suitable accommodations for children, but we'll be happy to recommend other area b&bs which can better accommodate families.

From I25 take exit 141. When you get off the freeway, turn left at the light onto Hwy 24/Cimarron (west). At the first major street, 8th Street, turn right (north). This dead ends at Colorado Avenue and you'll turn left (west). a few blocks down at 11th Street, turn right (north). Continue down one block to a stop sign. You'll see Holden House across the street on your left at 1102 W. Pikes Peak. Just look for the turreted blue Victorian on the corner!
