Our oceanfront accommodation, cottage rental and vacation rental facility is located in the tiny village of Ingomar, Shelburne County, Nova Scotia, Canada.The sound of the whispering waves rhythmically splashing on the shore, the smell of the crisp fresh salt air as it caresses your face will soothe both the body and the soul! The peacefulness will ground you in the moment. Roseway, Round Bay and Red Head Beaches are only moments away. Great places to wiggle your toes in the sand and let your worries and obligations melt with the rolling of the tides. Finally, have the holiday that you deserve and that only we can provide!

Description of Vacation Rental Property

Imagine yourself sitting quietly on your own private veranda , lost in the splendor of the sea while the sun fades beyond the horizon or enjoying a round of golf on a Nova Scotia golf vacation especially prepared for you. And each cottage has a breathtaking view of Ingomar Harbour from any vantage point in the living room, kitchen or covered front veranda. The interior of each cottage tastefully reflects one of three themes - wilderness, seaside; or romance. The handmade pine furniture are important components of all three. A full equipped kitchen will attend to all of your culinary needs - especially essential for your 'feed' of Atlantic hard shell lobsters! Comfy queen size beds and a queen size sofa bed in the living room await you and your family after a day of self-indulgent leisure or fast paced adventure.

Sleeps & # of Bedrooms

The cottages each have two bedrooms, each one with a queensize bed, bedding provided, dressers and closets. The livingroom features a pull out sofa bed as well, the cottage sleeps up to 6 guests. One fully stocked bathroom, toilet, sink, bathtub and shower, five of the six cottages now feature a double person jacuzzi!

Amenities

Enjoy Satellite t.v. a phone onsite, laundry facilities free for you use, fully stocked kitchens in each cottage, ready to prepare meals, electric fireplaces in 3 cottages, electric heat in all, ceailing fans, lots of fresh
air available, humidity is never a problem while living next to the ocean.
We have bicycles, fishing rods, board games, firewood for the large oceanfront fireplace, a nicely lit gazaboe next to the ocean and adirondack chairs arranged along the oceanfront for your enjoyment, deck furniture and full size propane barbeques on each cottage veranda.

Services Offered

We offer Lobster suppers, and a few other entrees based on advance notice and we prepare them for you and deliver the dinners right to your door for your convenience. We offer the services of a Registered Massage Therapist who will customize a massage just for you!

Restrictions

Smoking is permitted outside only, not in the cottages. This is for the enjoyment for all, and assists with those who have allergies. The cottages are enjoyed by guests of all ages, we specialize in Romantic Getaways, Family Vacations, Golf Vacations or weekly rentals.

Rates & Availability

Rates in off Season start at $199.00 per evening, includes a dinner for two a breakfast basket, or $165.00 per evening for a jacuzzi cottage,
non jacuzzi cottage $120.00 per evening. Two evening SPECIAL ONLY
$269.00 dinner for two, breakfast basket double person jacuzzi, robes
price starts October-May 30. Summer prices are $165.00 per evening
for jacuzzi cottages or $150.00 per evening non jacuzzi, prices don't include tax and may increase or decrease depending on the discression of the owners and price rises. We charge per cottage allowing up to six guests for summer rentals, we don't charge per person. This is a value added feature!

Self-Guided Day TripsShelburne, Lockeport and the Cape Sable Islands are nearby coastal communities and make wonderful self-guided day trips; each offers an opportunity to attend local events and attractions and explore the historic charm, rural life and fishing heritage of Shelburne County including the importance of lobstering to the regional economy.Shelburne, situated on a large, beautiful natural harbour has a prestigious historic district with a fascinating complex of museums, fine restaurants, retail and craft shops and authentic 18th century heritage properties. Nearby is The Islands Provincial Park , a great place to take a leisurely walk near the harbour's edge. Bring along some 'bunny food' for the large rabbits have made the park their home.Sand Hills Beach on the way to Cape Sable Island is a beautiful setting for a family picnic or an outing with a friend. The large, white sand dunes that rise behind the beach are spectacular. Washrooms and changing rooms are available at the park.As you cross the causeway to Cape Sable Island there are colorful fishing boats, fish plants and boat-building yards. Directions

Located on the South Shore of Nova Scotia, just one hour from Yarmouth Cat Ferry Landing, ferry comes from Portland Maine or Bar Harbour.
Just a 2 and a half hour drive from Halifax, book a flight arriving into
Halifax International Airport and rent a car for you convenience. Take the
103 Highway exit 27 coming from Halifax, or 103 Highway from Yarmouth and exit #28. We are located in Ingomar, on the lighthouse route. Ingomar is a small fishing community located on a peninsula, lots of beaches and fishing wharfs, fresh fish and friendly people!
