Santa Monica is an excellent base for seeing Los Angeles. Newly renovated, the hostel has a fresh, new look. With good public transportation, the hostel is also a convenient bus ride from the airport. The hostel has regularly scheduled trips to Disneyland, Universal Studios, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, and Mexico. At HI - Los Angeles/Santa Monica you are only two blocks from the beach and a block from more than 200 sidewalk cafes/restaurants, comedy and movie theaters, popular pubs, and shops. Visit the J. Paul Getty Center, a spectacular world-class art museum. Hostel has large kitchen, wireless, internet kiosks, daily movies and more. Rate includes linens, towels and breakfast.

Directions
We are 2 blocks from the beach and Santa Monica Pier. From LAX Airport: Shuttles available outside luggage claim.
From Amtrack Station: Take MTA bus #33 from Los Angeles and Arcadia Streets to 2nd and Broadway in Santa Monica, walk 1/2 block north to hostel.
From Greyhound Bus Station: Take MTA bus #60 west to 7th and Spring Streets, transfer to bus #33 and take to 2nd and Broadway in Santa Monica.
