The trips we offer are developed using guidelines created by the Swedish Ecotourism Society, and Svea Adventures firmly believes in sustainable travel and leaving no trace behind us.
Nordic Saga Horseback Adventure - 5 days / 4 nights OR 7 days / 6 nights - from $1082/person. This horseback adventure takes place in southern Sweden's highlands - an area known for its mythology, fairy tales and legends - commonly referred to as Sweden's "Troll Belt".

Age range, type of group
Svea's clients include anyone and everyone with a sense of adventure and the desire to explore new and different places! People from all walks of life, with all kinds of different backgrounds and experiences! Some trips have a minimum age limit, so contact us if you are traveling with children.
The maximum group size on most trips is 7-10, with a few exceptions of 18 on Iceland. We focus on smaller group sizes since we feel that it's important not only for everyone's enjoyment but also for the places we visit. The self-guided trips can be confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants. 
Sleeping and meals
Accommodations are chosen based on character, location and local ownership. They range from quaint inns with shared bathrooms, to simple huts and cabins in the mountains or a nice camp spot in the woods. Meals are based on local ingredients and traditions. These are usually prepared for you by your guides or a local restaurant, but occasionally we invite you to take part in the preparation, learning about unique ways or ancient traditions.
