St Christopher's Edinburgh is the most conveniently located hostel in the city - we're just across the street from Waverley Train Station. Nominated as one of the exclusive Europe's Famous Hostels, we've been providing a great place for travellers to explore Edinburgh from for years.â€Â¬

â€Âª Our rooms include free continental breakfast, free hot showers and free linen. Towels are available to rent for £1 with a £5 deposit. Rooms are cleaned daily and we have a variety of rooms, from singles up to 12-bed dorms. Standard and ensuite rooms are available.

â€ÂªWeâ€Â™ve got free Wi-Fi for everyone, free luggage storage and a 10% discount on food and drink for residents. Phone cards, padlocks and snacks are available at reception; you can also rent international plug adaptors, hair dryers and irons. We have an information point with tours and travel products; free historic walking tours leave from outside the hostel every day.

Thereâ€Â™s no curfew. We have a high level of security, with CCTV cameras throughout the hostel as well as electronic swipe card entry to the hostel and individual rooms. There are in-room lockers and a luggage storage room.

St Christopher's has a fully refurbished Belushi's bar and a separate entertainment venue for your enjoyment! â€Â¬ Thereâ€Â™s live music from our resident bands as well as live sports coverage, including all your favourite North American sports, with NASN. The kitchen is open between 8am and 10pm and serves great good. Guests can also make the most of our cut-price hostel menu.

You can relax in our chill-out lounge with Internet access, large screen and flat-screen satellite TVs and large, comfortable couches.

â€ÂªWe are also near Princes Street, a modern day shopping hub which was built as part of the New Town in the latter half of the 18th century. In true Georgian style, towering over the modern shops is all 200 feet of the Sir Walter Scott Monument, circa 1846. Visitors looking for a tremendous view of the Edinburgh skyline are invited to tackle the 287 steps for the pleasure. â€Â¬

If you fancy it then you're in luck because the most famous haggis-maker in the world, Mr Charles MacSween, resides right here in our fair city. Please note that guests under the age of 18 years of age must stay in a private room with guardians - they cannot share in general dormitory rooms with people who are not part of their own group or family. Under-18s are not allowed in the bars or pubs after the end of food serviceâ€Â¬.

Directions

FROM THE AIRPORT
Hop on the Airlink Shuttle and get off at Waverley Bridge (last stop), walk to the roundabout straight ahead (corner of Market St and Waverley Bridge, 20mtrs) then turn left and we are on the right hand side about 50mtrs down.

FROM WAVERLEY STATION
Use the Market Street Exit...you may have to climb some stairs as the exit is on the other side of some of the platforms. Go to the Market Street Exit and turn RIGHT out of the station and we only a few seconds down the street on the other side of the road. If you exit onto Waverley bridge simply turn left and follow the instructions for the airport bus.

BUS STATION
Walk down to Princess Street, then turn right and then left, going around the station and along Waverley Bridge, at the roundabout on the far side of the station turn left and we are located on the right hand side about 50mtrs down.
