The Astor Victoria Hostel is within easy walking distance of many of London's great attractions, such as the London Eye, Westminster Abbey (Big Ben), Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, The Tate Gallery and the river Thames.
The hostel offers bright and clean dormitory rooms with four, six and eight beds as well as twins and doubles. We provide convenient toilets and showers that are located outside the rooms and kept clean at all times. There are lockers in the hostel and if you forget to bring your padlock you can always buy one from behind reception.
We're staffed by an international crew of young and enthusiastic travellers who are more than willing to find the best time for you in this amazing city night and day!
Add to that the excellent location (only 15 minutes' walk to Buckingham Palace) and you'll find this is a great place to start your adventures in London as well as make a bunch of new friends!
A free continental breakfast is included, as well as clean bed linen - we've even made your bed for you! There's hot showers 24hrs a day, a safe to lock up your valuables, a fully equipped kitchen, cable and satellite TV and a DVD player, as well as many other amenities to make your stay at the Vic as enjoyable as possible.

Clink261 is extremely well serviced by a wide variety of public transport.
From Kings Cross station:
Take the exit for Grays Inn Road. When you come out this exit McDonalds will be on your right. (There are two McDonalds at Kings Cross, you need the one beside the Post office). Continue straight ahead. Pass the bureau de change and pass KFC; both will be on your right. The road naturally goes to the right; this is Grays Inn Road. Clink26 is 100 meters up the road on the right.
From Heathrow Airport:
Take the underground (Piccadilly Line) from the airport to King's Cross. Then follow directions as above.
Cost �4.00 one way; journey time approximately 1 hour. Trains leave every 5- 10 minutes.
From Gatwick Airport:
Catch Gatwick Express to Victoria station.
Trains depart every 15 minutes and the journey takes 30 minutes. Tickets cost �16.90 single and �28.80 return.
From Luton Airport:
Take the First Capital Connect direct to St. Pancras.
Again trains depart every 15 minutes and tickets cost �11.50 single and �20.50 return.
From Stansted Airport:
Take the Stansted Express to Tottenham Hale or go to Liverpool Station.
Change at Tottenham Hale and take the Victoria Line to King's Cross (�4.00). Then follow directions as above.
Trains depart from Stansted every 15 minutes and tickets cost �19.00 one way or �28.80 return. Travel time is 46 minutes.
From Victoria Station:
Take the Victoria Line direct to King's Cross (four stops). Then follow directions as above.
Trains depart every five minutes and tickets cost �4.00 single.
From Waterloo Station:
Take the Bakerloo Line to Oxford Circus then change onto the Victoria line north to King�s Cross. Then follow directions as above.
Trains depart every five minutes and tickets cost �4.00 single.
From Paddington Station:
Take the Circle or Hammersmith & City line east to King�s Cross. Then follow directions as above.
Trains depart every five minutes and tickets cost �4.00 single.
From Liverpool Street Station:
Take the Circle, Hammersmith & City or Metropolitan line west to King�s Cross. Then follow directions as above.
