Would you like the opportunity to get "up-close" and capture, with the lens of your camera, wildlife in their natural habitat? Our experienced guides can get you the best photo shots possible. Elk, deer, antelope, and more!
We are Arizona natives who have hunted, ranched, camped and lived on the land for 5 generations. We are experienced, professional guides who can get you up close and personal with Arizona wildlife in their natural habitat. Wildlife viewing opportunity abounds in the mountains and the deserts of Arizona. Elk, deer, antelope, and much more can be seen and photographed.
Typical Day
The very best viewing and photo opportunities come in the early morning and late afternoon/evening hours for most animals. A typical day would start before sunrise as we venture out in search of wildlife. After several hours, we will return to camp for a hearty brunch, and a nice rest. During the middle of the day, scouting for the evening venture takes place. Upon return from the evening photo trip, dinner is prepared and served. After reminiscing around the campfire, we retire to our tents for a well deserved sleep. We want to make this the best experience you've ever had and are open to requests. The physical condition/limitations of our clients will be taken into consideration as to the intensity and mode of travel on these excursions. Keep in mind, that these expeditions take place in the wilderness, not on a game ranch, therefore hiking is required most of the time.
Age range, type of group
Due to the need for quiet and the ability for your presence to be unknown to the animals, the trips are limited to no more than 4 people. Keep in mind that if human presence is detected, the majority of the time, the animals will flee and the photo opportunity is gone, so bringing small children or pets is not advised.
Sleeping and meals
Our camps consist of canvas wall tents with cots & tables inside for your bedroll, and personal effects, solar showers, and portable toilets. There are wood-stoves in the tents for heat in the colder months. All your meals, snacks, and beverages are provided and prepared for you. As long as there are no summer fire restrictions, campfires are provided if desired. You will need to bring your own bedroll (sleeping bag/pillow).
Restrictions
Pets are not allowed, they would be left unattended in camp for long periods of time, which wouldn't be fair to them or us.
