Description of Activity/Tour

International University Language Courses for all levels, in the beautiful settings of Carinthia, one of Austria's most popular holiday regions.
Due to recent renovation and expansion, the university, located at the crossroads of three cultures (Austria, Italy and Slovenia), has become a very attractive educational center.
Join our international classes and enjoy learning the language and experiencing our country. We offer a daily leisure activities program with a varietiy of things to do such as excursions within Carinthia, but also (day) trips to Salzburg, Vienna and Venice as well as a number of cultural and sporting activities.

Typical Day

All of our teachers are university graduates, especially trained in teaching German as a foreign and second language using the most up-to-date teaching methods.
German lessons from 09:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Lunch in one of the numerous restaurants on Campus (also a 'Mensa') or directly by the lake.
Creative workshops in the afternoon from 02:00 - 03:30 p.m.
Leisure time (guided by our leisure activities team): Example: Pedal-boat racing on the lake and/or water color painting or a visit to the "Robert Musil" museum in the city center.

Age range, type of group

Age range is from 17-99. Our learners come from all over the world with a background of different occupational and academic fields. There is no limit to our range of students. Whether learning German is your hobby or you need it for your studies or your job, the 'Alps-Adriatic'-University of Klagenfurt is the right place for you.

Sleeping and meals

Accommodation in any one of the numerous students' residences on Campus or in hotels and/or pensions along the lake or in the city center.

All of our trainers are native speakers with academic backgrounds.
