THIS LOCATION IS BEST WITH A CAR - METRO/SUBWAY IS 4 MILES AWAY
Latest check in is 7 pm (we can accommodate later check ins with prior arrangements).
Need to request entry code to get in the guesthouse.

We do not accept debit cards.

You must call or e-mail us 3 days before arriving to get an entry code for the guesthouse, otherwise, you can not get in.

PLEASE NOTE:
Metro/Subway station is 4 miles away, this location is best with a car, there is nothing within waking distance.
The guesthouse is 10 miles from the Smithsonian Museums, White House, in Washington, DC, 3 miles from Old Town, Alexandria and 5 miles from Mount Vernon's George Washington's Home.

Very safe, very clean, quiet home environment. Free local calls(bring calling card for long distance calls). Free Parking, Free Internet/wifi ($10 per hour after check out time), Free self-service light continental breakfast. We offer private twin Rooms only, we do not rent just one bed.

No Smoking, No Drinking and no Pets facility, $75 clean up fee per day and guest will be asked to leave immediatelly without any refunds if policies are not respected.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

PLEASE NOTE: The cancellation policy for American Guest House is the correct cancellation policy and all guests must go by this. The 24 hr cancellation policy is not valid for this accommodation.

We require 3 days cancellation notice (or get charged for THREE night stay). Reservations made less than 3 days from arrival date have Two (2) hours to cancel otherwise the regular cancellation/change notice requirement will apply.

PAYMENT METHOD: Cash, mastercard, visa, Travelers checks. We do not accept reserations with a Debit Card nor personal checks.

CHECK IN: 3 PM (OK to drop off luggage earlier with prior arrangement).
Must have an entry code prior to arriving, otherwise you can not get in. No front desk service.

CHECK OUT TIME: 10:30a.m. or pay for additional night.

CLEANING: From 9:30 A.M. to 3 P.M., ok to drop off bags with prior arangement

We would recommend that people staying at the GuestHouse have their own mode of transportation, ideally a car. However, bus 101 & 151 service the area.
