Explore the surrounding Beatrix Potter country from here too, plus there's easy access to the southern fells and Lake Windermere. Directions
From M6 J36 take A590 toward Barrow in Furness. At Newby Bridge go straight on at roundabout then take next right following signs to Lakeside and Hawkshead. From Hawkshead village turn right out of village following signs to Newby Bridge. YHA Hawkshead is 1 mile out of village.
