Morena Mansion

Morena Mansion complex lies in the Danube Delta on the shore of Lake Violet in Romania's Tulcea county.

Built between 2000 and 2003 it has strong local influences in its architecture. Many of the rooms feature unique pieces of furniture and paintings by prestigious artists of Tulcea and Romania.

We provide a 24 hour reception service, laundry, mail services (including journals and newspapers), exchange bureau, internet and fax.

There are seven single and double rooms with modern bath, air conditioning, mini-bar, TV-satellite, telephone and balcony.

Morena Mansion caters for all tastes. Other facilities in the hotel include a terrace, lobby, bar, piano bar, library, traditional sauna swiming pool.

Guests can savour traditional Romanian cooking particularly fish and venison. We have a collection of Romanian wines, all of which you can enjoy in the open-air restaurant in the summer.

Private parking is available. We can also provide transport to and from different areas on request.

Its location at the core of the Danube Delta makes Morena Complex the ideal starting point for a variety of activities including bird watching, fishing, hunting etc.

You can access any point of interest in the Danube Delta in less than 1½ hrs: Holbina, Razim, Sulina, Merhei, Matita, Red Lake and Swan's Lake.
You can visit many interesting forts and archaelogical sites such as Zaporojeni, Orgame, Enisala and Histria.
