The house that we currently live in was build in 1925 but it was extensively renovated and built on to it since it was built. The house is full of family souvenirs and memorabilia that I have acquired during my travels all over the world.. My Father during the 1st world war was captured by the Russian army and was kept in a camp near the Baykal Lake in Siberia . It took him 10 years to come back home , he mainly walked that distance. After his return to his home village, he married my mother in 1924. Both my grandparents and parents were bakers and the family tradition is cultivated by my youngest brother who delivers his traditional hand made breads, baked in wood fired bakers oven to top restaurants in Krakow and to my house. Here is some brief information about my pension in Krakow. Currently my daughter helps me in running our family B&B. She is married to Wowa Brodecki - man well known in Krakow.. Wowa my son in law works in Ludowy Theater one of the Krakow's better known theaters. His is enthusias the Polish history specially the history of Polish soldiers fighting during the II world war on all fronts. His father was soldier cavalryman fighting in 1939, then he was in Underground Army in Wołyń (now that region is in Ukraine) than in Polish People's Army combating till 1945. To honor and commemorate his father and all Polish soldiers who faought in the 2nd WW he has made a horseback trip from Krakow to Monte Cassino. It took him 4 months of riding to make that trip.. He was also made horseback trips to France, Germany and all over Poland.. He is also a movie actor .
