The Del Monte Beach Inn is classicly distinguished in design as well as character. We host a continental break fast set out from 8 until 10 in the morning. Hot muffins are served with the fruit of your choice. After breakfasst take a leisurely stroll to Downtown Montery, cross the Del Monte Avenue to scout the Monterey Bay's shore, or just relax in complacence along the banks of Lake El Estero. All these things and more are offered from our Early European American styled Bed and Breakfast
Each guest room has comfortable beds with crisp linen and the rooms are decorated with fresh flowers. All rooms have sinks and share antique bathrooms with claw-foot tubs. There are some rooms that feature a kitchenette and private bathrooms.

After helping yourself to a continental breakfast served on the antique buffet, enjoy the best the Peninsula has to offer. A recreational bike and walking trail along the bay connects the Inn with old historic Monterey, Fishermen's Wharf, the Marina, Cannery Row, the Aquarium, tide pools and Maritime Museum. The Inn is just steps from the beautiful Del Monte Beach where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire Monterey Bay.

There is an endless list of things to do -- enjoy the magnificent 17-Mile Drive of Pebble Beach, legendary Carmel-by-the-Sea, Carmel Valley's ranches and vineyards, Point Lobos State Park, inspirational Big Sur and, of course, some of the best golf courses in the world.

Check-In time is 2:00-8:00. If you should have to arrive after 8:00 special arrangements are assumed by the inn keeper.

Directions

From Highway 1 south, exit right at Aguajito Road and head forward towards the ocean. Aguajito ends at Del Monte Avenue which runs continuous along the coast. Turn right on Del Monte. The inn will be on the right-hand side of the street just after Park Avenue (It is a three story light blue building with royal blue trim).

From the North: Take Hwy. 1 south to the Fisherman's Wharf/Downtown Monterey exit. Three blocks after the Del Monte Beach eucalyptus forest. Continue on to Lake El Estero ( the lake). Our building will be one block before on the left hand side facing the water, waving international flags.You may double back by turning left at Camino Aguajito and Del Monte and using Lake street which runs parallel( behind the gas station). (1110 Del Monte Ave.). From the South: Take Hwy 1 North to the first Monterey exit, Camino Aguajito. Turn left on Camino Aguajito (the first stop light), continue until you reach the intersection of Del Monte Avenue. You are now facing the Monterey Bay. Turn right on Del Monte. The building is 1 1/2 blocks ahead facing the water(1110 Del Monte Ave.). From the East: Take Hwy. 68 West, turn off to Monterey entrance South, Fremont Street. Tkae the immediate right onto Camino Aguajito (first intersection light), continue unto the intersection of Del Monte Ave. Turn right on Del Monte.The building is 1 1/2 blocks ahead on the right facing the water(1110 Del Monte Ave).

Check-in time is 2:00pm-800 pm. If you should have to arrive after 8:00 pm then either a previous attempt should be made to ensure notification or If no call has been made to our establishment we will assume you will be checking in late and we will leave directions for late check-in procedure at the front door, prior to your arrival.
