Hostel Stadion

Stadion Hostel is magnificently set in Helsinki Olympic Stadium, near to the center of Helsinki. We offer you the best value in the town with the rates starting from 20 E / night (17,50 Euros for HI-members). We have few private rooms in the hostel, but mostly we gather travellers together to dormitories. Totally we have 162 beds in our hostel.

The rates include accommodation, bed linen and towel. Buffet-breakfast available for extra charge 6 Euros. We offer guests free internet (2 PC:s and wlan on common areas) and parking. There are customer kitchen, TV room and luggage room available for our customers. You can buy public transportation cards, souveniers and snacks (vending machine) from the reception area.

Our staff knows Helsinki and Finland well, and are happy to help you with all questions you may have. The reception is open 24 h. Please note that we do not check in new customers in to dormitory rooms between 01-07 at night.

Stadion Hostel is dedicated to quality. We are the first HI Quality certified hostel (by Hostelling International) in Finland.

Directions

We are located right in the Olympic Stadium of Helsinki on it's northern curve. It is always easy to find us - the 72 meter high tower of the Olympic Stadium is visible almost anywhere in Helsinki. We are located 100 meters north from the tower. Our street address is Pohjoinen Stadiontie 4.

FROM THE AIRPORT
Helsinki Airport (HEL) is located 18 kms from us. From the airport, you can take the Finnair bus to town, and ask the driver to drop you off by the Opera house, from where it is a 500 meter walk to our hostel.

FROM THE RAILWAY STATION
Helsinki Railway Station is located about 2,5 kms south of us. It is about 25 minutes walk from there to our hostel. You can also take a tram #3T in front of the railway station or trams 7A in Mannerheimintie. In both cases ask the driver to drop you off by the Aurora Hospital, from where it is a 200 meter walk to our hostel.

FROM THE FERRY TERMINALS
If you arrive to Helsinki by Silja Line or Linda Line ferries, take the tram # 3T, and ask the driver to drop you off by the Aurora Hospital, from where it is a 200 meter walk to our hostel.

If you arrive to Helsinki by Viking Line, Nordic Jet Line or Sea Wind ferries, take the tram # 4, and ask the driver drop you off by the 'Töölön Halli', from where it is a 500 meter walk to our hostel.

If you arrive to Helsinki by Tallink or Eckerö Line ferries, take the bus # 15 to Ruoholahti metro station, and change there to tram # 8, and ask the driver drop you off by the Opera House, from where it is a 500 meter walk to our hostel.

BY CAR
For those who arrive with their own vehicles, we have plenty of free parking places on our courtyard. Bicycles can be stored in our garage.
