Vila Tamarindo is located on Florianópolis Island, which is located in Southern Brazil. The Inn is on Campeche Beach, which is well known for its beautiful and natural surroundings.
The view from the Pousada Vila Tamarindo Inn offers a spectacular display of the dunes and the Atlantic Ocean. At night, the sound of the waves relaxes the mind and heals the spirit.
Every morning we offer a delicious homemade breakfast buffet that includes several types of bread, cake, yogurt, sweets, cheese bread and much more. Also, you will find special areas around the Inn well suited for relaxation, such as our patio covered with sweet smelling flowers along with the sound of a running spring. There are also hammocks to sit and listen to the near by waves under the shade of the trees. The Inn also offers a reading room and an outdoor pool with an ocean view.
At the Vila Tamarindo we are concerned with the impact that we have on the environment. We want to make sure we take care of it; this is why the Inn was awarded a Carbon Free seal in 2010 promoting a cleaner more sustainable environment. One of the most important Brazilian travel guides, Guia 4 Rodas rated Vila Tamarindo as one of the 5 best nature hotels in Florianópolis. Sited just in front of the Campeche Island, on Campeche Beach, east coast, 200 metres from the sea, 11 km from Airport, 16 km to city center, 6 km to Conceição Lagoon. Our neighboring beaches are Armação and Morro das Pedras to the south, and Joaquina and Mole to the North
From the interstadual bus station in the city center, go to the urban terminal and take the bus 'Rio Tavares Direto' . Change on the terminal 'Tirio' to the 'Porto Rio Tavares' bus. The pousada is in front of the bus stop number 26 of Av. Campeche
