We are situated centrally, off Route 1A, on the Blue Heron Trail, in a peaceful rural setting, minutes from Confederation Bridge, Summerside, beaches, golf and all of this beautiful Islands' attractions.
Make Serendipity Bed & Breakfast Inn your base for your stay on the Island. We are so close to everything. You can be anywhere in PEI in less than a 2 hour drive, with most destinations being much closer.

Description of Accommodations

Serendipity Bed & Breakfast Inn is a 4 Star Canada Select property.
In the busy summer season, we operate a gourmet restaurant on the premises for guests staying with us. In the quieter winter off-season the resaurant is open to the public.
Dolores cooking skills are second to none and she routinely receives rave reviews form guests who visit frequently.

Description of Rooms/Suites

...The Victorian Suite has 2 adjoining bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. There is a private balcony off one room looking west towards Bedeque Bay and Northumberland Strait. The private bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub and a shower.
...The Island Retreat is a large suite on the 3rd floor with a queen size bed and a double bed. The ensuite bathroom has a shower and a bath.
Sit on the the window seat and enjoy the pastoral view over the fields. Sunsets can be breathtaking.
...The Garden View, has a queen size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. The private balcony looks out west towards Bedeque Bay and Northumberland Strait.
...The Coach House, is a two level modern Dutch Barn style home of approx 1,550 sq ft. The main level, which is wheelchair accessible, has a bedroom with queen size bed, a kitchen, a dining area, a living room and a barrier-free bathroom with shower. The 2nd level has 2 bedrooms, with double beds, and a bathroom with shower.

Services Offered

Start of your day with a tasty gourmet breakfast. We are also pleased to be able to offer fine dining at Serendipity Bed & Breakfast Inn.
Delicious dinners are available in the evening for our Guests. We have an extensive Menu of mouth watering choices.
Dinner, whether it be for two or more, is also available in either of our two Dining Rooms.
Dolores will prepare exactly what you want and will cook it just the way you like it.

We are a 'non smoking' home.
We have no pets and we have a 'no pets' policy.
We welcome families with children. Please inquire however before bringing children.

Directions

FROM CONFEDERATION BRIDGE:
Take Trans Canada Highway #1 towards Summerside and Charlottetown approx 6km (5 minutes) Exit right towards Summerside and follow Highway 1A West approx 10 km (10 minutes) to Bedeque. Turn left onto Callbeck Street (Hwy 171) Take first right onto Linkletter Avenue. "Serendipity B&B Inn" is the 6th house on your right.

FROM SUMMERSIDE:
Take Highway 1A East towards Confederation Bridge. Take the right fork toward Bedeque just past the overhead road sign (at the top of the hill after crossing the Dunk River). This is Linkletter Avenue and "Serendipity B&B Inn" is on your left just past the church.
