St.Lucia's Anse Chastanet Resort is in one of the most scenic settings the Caribbean has to offer. Description of Accommodations

Forty-nine individually designed rooms are scattered about a lush hillside while some are located at beach level. No two rooms at Anse Chastanet are exactly alike. Twelve beach-level units are tucked away behind the coconut palms, just steps from the water's edge and the resort's renowned PADI 5 Star dive facility. Perched on the hill are Anse Chastanet's original rooms; On the very top of Morne Chastanet is the exclusive oasis of JADE MOUNTAIN,Anse Chastanet's resort within a resort featuring spectacular infinity pool suites.

Description of Rooms/Suites

Chairs and beds are covered in madras prints - a traditional island fabric of bright plaid woven with the same colours as the ginger lilies, anthuriums and bougainvillea found in every room. Further up the hill are Anse Chastanet's very spacious deluxe and premium suites. And the sense of space is even further enhanced by the fact that as little as possible was put between the guests and their natural surroundings, leaving entire walls open to the vistas. Indeed, it's even hard to say where the inside stops and the outside begins: a flamboyant tree drapes its red-blossomed branches gently over the balcony in one room, the veranda of another was actually built around a red gommier tree. And the famous showers-with-a-view in the premium suites are a unique luxury of Anse Chastanet.

Amenities

While the sensuous seclusion of the rooms provide some guests with the perfect excuse for lolling away the day on the balcony, others head out to partake in the many activities on offer, from snorkeling, scuba diving, tennis, sunset sailing to jungle biking or a nature walk among the ruins of a colonial plantation. The less actively inclined "simply do nothing", lie on the beach or enjoy one of the therapeutic body and beauty treatments offered by ANSE CHASTANET's spa Kai Belte located at beach level.There's also a casual, beachside bar and restaurant and a panoramic hillside terrace where breakfast and afternoon tea are served daily. Dinners are a romantic candlelit affair with a daily changing menu celebrating Tropical World Cuisine, with musical backdrops provided by local entertainers.

Restrictions

Anse Chastanet welcomes children from age 10 and at Jade Mountain from age 15. The unique hillside/ beach setting may not be suited for those with physical challenges, A resort shuttle is available.

Our daily rates per couple in standard, superior, beach dlx, hill dlx and premium accommodation respectively are US 450/560/650/740/860 from Jan 3 until April 15, 2009 ( room only, all meal plans optional). The daily rates per couple from April 16- May 31 ( and also Nov 1-Dec 19, 2009 ) are US 350/440/530/600/715 and from June 1- Oct 31, 09 they are US 300/380/450/520/635 in standard, superior, beach dlx, hill dlx and premium accommodation respectively. To add breakfast and dinner, please add US 160 per couple per day. All above rates - rooms and meals - are subject to 18% tax/service.

JADE MOUNTAIN at ANSE CHASTANET offers 24 infinity pool sanctuaries
and 5 SKY Jacuzzi suites. The daily rates per couple in the Sky, Star, Moon and Sun categories respectively are US 1100/1450/1650/1950 from Jan 3 until April 15, 2009, US 950/1250/1450/1750 from April 16 - May 31, 09 & Nov 1- Dec 19, 09 and US 850/1150/1350/1650 from June 1 - October 31, 2009. Directions

Anse Chastanet Resort can make all airport transfer arrangements. Car rental is available both at the airport and at the Resort. Follow the coastal highway from Vieux Fort Intl Airport( UVF) to Soufriere via Laborie and Choiseul , then take coastal hillside road along Humming Bird Restaurant for 1.5 miles. From SLU George Charles Airport in Castries, follow highway and costal road to Cul de Sac Valley, Anse La Raye, Canaries to Soufriere.
