Only 3 hours from Rio - Buzios is almost an island only 9km long but with 23 astonishing beaches and sunshine all year round.

Directions

Departures from Rio's bus terminal - 7 a day, last one at 19:30. Company: Auto Viação 1001. Prices around R$30.
Ask the driver to get off the bus just in front of Alegravila Pousada.

Following the main avenue to downtown area, just 2 blocks after passing Tartaruga beach junction

But if you are arriving at Rio's International airport a transfer service could be your best option since it departs from the airport direct to Buzios. Prices are around R$70- and reservations should be made in advance. If that's your option you can email us with your flight data and we'll be glad to make all arrangements.
