At Nomads Melbourne, we offer you a unique backpacking experience. Our totally refurbished building is located at the top end of the CBD, right in front of the Queen Victoria Market. With many popular Melbourne attractions, beautiful gardens, fantastic shopping and dining, and a wealth of public transport options close by, Melbourne at its best is at your doorstep.
Enjoy budget accommodation in style. Your backpacking experience comes complete with contemporary in-house bar -café, cinema lounge, laundry facilities, a small guest kitchen (we provide free pasta, rice, tea and coffee) and a sun deck.
You can book travel tours at our MAD travel desk and keep in touch with friends and family with internet terminals, Wi-Fi and international telephone access. With our free luggage storage facilities, 24-hour reception and a host of friendly staff, Nomads Melbourne will make your stay in Melbourne a breeze.
Our accommodation options include deluxe ensuite king rooms, single or multi-share private rooms and four-to-10-bed dormitory rooms. All come with fresh white linen, operable windows, fans and heating as well as security swipe cards and elevator access to all five floors.
At our Industry Bar and Lounge, you can relax on the lounges with an espresso over breakfast, chill during the day with music and a game of pool, and then dance the night away while sampling the wide range of beers, wines and spirits and soaking up the vibe. Enjoy a free drink on us every night!
Daily events at our hostel include Mexican Mondays (with free killer pool), Trivia Tuesdays (bar tabs up for grabs), Madass Wednesdays (with salsa dancing and karaoke with a free shot for singers), Bombastic Thursdays (jump on board the Jaeger train!), Ladies†Night Fridays (free champagne for ladies between 5.30pm and 6.30pm; plus beer specials every time the bell rings), Sambuca Saturdays (half-price Sambuca shots happy hour) and Chill-in Sundays, with free open pool from 3pm.

Directions
We are located at 32 Carlisle St St Kilda with a tram stop right out the front and FREE car parking- its easy to get to us and harder to leave!
From Southern Cross Station-Catch tram 96 to McDonalds in St.Kilda. From this junction walk for approx 2 minutes down Carlisle St. We are just across Barkley St on the left.
From Flinders St Station-Catch tram 16 to stop 38 in St.Kilda (corner Carlisle and Barkly St). We are just across Barkley St on the left.
From Tullamarine airport-Catch the Frankston & Peninsula airport bus and they will drop you right at our door! Book 3 nights or more and receive a free ride from Tullamarine airport 7am-7pm. Please contact hostel prior to arrival to avail of this service.
From Avalon airport-Catch the Sunbus to Southern Cross Station and follow directions as above.
Reception is open 24 hours but please contact us if arriving after 11pm so we can keep an eye out for you!
