Captain Olivers is a 3-Star waterfront resort that is uniquely located on the French/Dutch border on the island of St. Martin/St. Maarten. The resort is often described as a charming intimate getaway off-the-beaten-path, yet the unique location offers easy accessibility to the islands other attributes. The glass wall of the swimming pool-sometimes called the People Aquarium-and the International Bridge entrance to Captain Olivers Restaurant designate the border. The hotel is French, while the restaurants and marina are Dutch - a symbol of the islands unity. Captain Olivers Hotel was designed to integrate with nature - the hillside bungalows along the waterfront are nestled among tropical plants, natural rock outcroppings and winding paths.
