A scenic drive by car 2 hours from Burnie.5 hours from Cradle Mountain, 3.5 hours from Launceston and 4 hours from Hobart. Road coach services operate from Queenstown to the north-west, Cradle country and Hobart. The West Coaast Wilderness Railway operates between Strahan and Queenstown daily.
