Maximum of 3 people per room.<p>Enjoy a first class dinner in The Old Prospector Restaurant or relax by the open fire in the lounge bar with a glass of Tasmanian wine or a fine local or international beer. A full country breakfast is served daily in the restaurant or if you prefer, dine in the comfort of your own room.<p>Whether you are here for business, or pleasure, the team at the West Coaster Motel will ensure that your stay with us is enjoyable. From a picnic lunch to take and explore the historic mining country to help from our tour desk to take in the scenic beauty of the countryside, our staff will ensure that your stay is memorable.<p>Your friendly hosts will ensure that your stay is pleasurable, and look forward to welcoming you to the most comfortable hotel in the wild west. This is the best base to see and experience all that the region has to offer - 3.5 star comfort at value for money prices with a genuine warm welcome. Reception is located in the main entrance to the hotel. Please notify us if you are arriving after 21:00 (9.00 p.)AS RECEPTION CLOSES AT 9PM NIGHTLY.<P> A scenic drive by car 2 hours from Burnie.5 hours from Cradle Mountain, 3.5 hours from Launceston and 4 hours from Hobart. Road coach services operate from Queenstown to the north-west, Cradle country and Hobart. The West Coaast Wilderness Railway operates between Strahan and Queenstown daily.
