The Hotel das Cataratas is located inside the Iguacu National Park, in Foz do Iguacu, Parana, Brazil, and is the only Hotel within the Park facing the world famous Iguassu Falls. With its attractive architectural lines in the Portuguese colonial style the Hotel stands out as one of the most beautiful buildings in the region. Its privileged location, in harmony with nature, means the visitor enjoys one of the richest experiences possible. As well as the amazing view of the falls the Brazil/Argentina border can also be seen. Guests are constantly reminded of the proximity of the falls by the ever-present sound of the water and by the mist. The Hotel das Cataratas has two restaurants: the Ipe Bar & Grill, next to the swimming pool and the Itaipu Restaurant which boasts a terrace. Both serve international as well as local cuisine. There are numerous local and speciality dishes, based on the eclectic population of the Igua?u region, and their range of culinary influences. In the middle of the Hotel there is a large swimming pool. The property is surrounded by tropical gardens where delicate orchids grow. The area is luscious and the tropical vegetation is abundant because of the water vapour from the falls. DELUXE ROOMS & CATARATAS DELUXE ROOMS: The Hotel das Cataratas has 60 Deluxe Rooms in the Garden Wing and 18 in the Forest Wing, all of which are approximately 30 square meters in size and feature twin beds and Portuguese style decor with paintings by Ludmilla de Montes, the Brazilian artist. The 17 Cataratas Deluxe Rooms face the spectacular falls, and are ideal for relaxing after a day at the Iguacu National Park.
