Deer Lodge is located moments away from the northern shores of Lake Louise, and has been renowned for its warm, inviting hospitality since first opening in the early 1920s. The lodge is only a 5 minute walk to Lake Louise. Deer Lodge features 71 guest rooms, all an eclectic mix of historical character and modern amenities. All rooms feature a private bath, down duvets and pillows, telephones and a complimentary in-room safe. Lodge Rooms are compact and cozy with either a double bed or two single beds. Heritage Rooms have one King Bed or two Double beds, along with a balcony. Deer Lodge offers complimentary parking and wireless internet access. During the ski season, the lodge offers a complimentary shuttle bus to and from the Lake Louise ski hill.Many of the architectural features from the original buildings have been restored including the original hand hewn log structure. The Mt. Fairview Dining room is known as one of the best dining experiences in the Canadian Rockies, offering outstanding Rocky Mountain Cuisine.
