The city of Cologne will charge an extra tax of 5 percent on room accommodation rate (including VAT). This tax will be charged to guests at check-out, and paid to the Hotel. This Renaissance Hotel is located within walking distance of the town center and approximately 10 miles from Cologne Airport. Cologne, an international trade fair and media city on the Rhine, beguiles visitors with its rich history and numerous museums, galleries, and cultural establishments. The hotel is also within walking distance of Cologne Cathedral, Cologne Philharmonic, and the shopping district. Hotel amenities include the gym, whirlpool, indoor swimming pool, solarium, and sauna. Meals and refreshments can be had at the hotel's Alexander's Bar, Restaurant Raffael, Summer Terrace, Valentino Restaurant, or through room service. Other services include valet laundry, concierge services, complimentary Lobby coffee, and parking (additional fee applies). Rooms feature work desks, voicemail, cable TV, weekday newspaper delivery, irons and ironing boards (on request), hairdryers, and bathrobes.
