Situated on 125 acres in Mummy Mountain, the resort is only eight miles from Bank One Ballpark, six miles from Old Town Scottsdale, and 12 miles from Arizona State University.
Officially opened on December 15, 1936, and situated on 125 beautifully landscaped acres on Mummy Mountain, this historic resort was host to celebrities such as Clark Gable, Cary Grant, and Dwight Eisenhower in its earlier years.
Outdoors you will discover three heated swimming pools, a nine-hole Pitch & Putt course, ping pong, pool table, a recreational area for children, jogging paths, hiking trails, half-court basketball, and a chapel built in 1959. Celebrating the history and style of Arizona's culture, Camelback's 453 pueblo-style guest casitas combine privacy and inspiring views of Camelback Mountain in a natural desert setting.
