    STAY AWAY !!!

    We were fooled by trick the photography pics at the Inn's website and booked 3 nights. But we left after one night. Val got sick after swimming for just a few minutes at the stretch of beach across from the Inn. The beach there is badly polluted, a fact that the hotel denies and then lies about. (google: Easton's Beach, sewerage) The air stinks from the oily, polluted sand. The Inn itself was abandoned for years and smells of must and mold.     The Newport Beach Hotel and Suites directly overlooks Newports Eastons Beach, Eastons Pond and the Cliff Walk. The Historic Building recently completed a multi-million dollar renovation and offers 42 one and two bedroom guest rooms that retain their historic New England seaside charm. The New Suites Building, adjacent to the Historic Building, features Newports largest suites ranging from 600-1300 square feet. These suites include floor-to-ceiling windows and doors with Juliet balconies. full kitchens, washer/dryers, and granite and marble bathrooms with Jacuzzi tubs. Amenities include the Ocean Bar and Grille, indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, spa facilities, and rooftop hot tub and fire pit. Technology includes free wired and wireless internet and a complimentary business center.
