    The Sierra Espuna is located on the Cosat Calida region of Spain, still un touched by the massive tourism. An ideal area to explore and experience real Spain.

    The cottage is nestled amongst tranquil terraces of orange and lemon trees, with a small stream running in front which keeps you cool at the height of the Murcian summers. Due to it's mountainous rural location there is no light pollution. Dirt road access means that the odd tractor might disturb your peace as you lay by the pool, watching an Eagle glide the thermals. Yet you are only 20mins from Totana which has all the services you might need. No chemicals are used at La Huerta and it is totally self sufficient for all utilities. Water is provided from a natural mountain reservoir, power by solar and generator.

And for the cooler nights due to the winds from the snow covered peaks of the Sierra Nevada and Sierra Espuna there is a large log fire place.
