Our location (a 7-minute walk from Surfer's Beach) and our spectacular ocean view are the first things that attract our guests.

Surfer's Haven is for the adventurous traveller looking for a unique experience. There is a remote feel here.

Our island of Eleuthera is stunningly unspoiled. We offer mountain bike, surfboard and mask/snorkel rentals. Or guests can hop aboard one of our adventure tour mini-trip specials.' This is a 2-3 hour excursion we run when the schedule allows featuring activities like a drift snorkel down Current Cut and cliff jumping. Half-day and full-day trips also offered at a discounted rate.

The guesthouse offers large decks for sunbathing, yoga or napping in our hammocks. Our 'apartment' room has its own balcony, full bathroom, kitchen and queen bed. The apt. has a private entrance and with it's million dollar view is one of Eleuthera's best deals! Studio One has a queen bed and Studio Two has two single beds. They share a bathroom and open up onto the biggest deck of the house. All the above rooms come equipped with a fridge. The bedroom is a simple room with two single beds and a bathroom across the hall. It is a place to lay your head at night.

NEW! The campsites are in a shaded corner of the property. Campers have kitchen and bathroom access. We have tents and equipment for an additional charge.

NEW! Our Recovery Room cottage (just up the road) is a private rental at $650/550/week, nightly rate also available! The A Frame House also just up the road is $750/week, discounts for longer stays.

Please note during our summer season (June-Sept.) that the guesthouse is not air-conditioned. It can be hot here! We do now offer two rooms with A.C. We do offer two fans for each room.

Groceries in the Bahamas are pricey and budget-minded guests can bring grocery items with them. In the spirit of hosteling the main house offers full kitchen access (with deep freeze), a library, dartboard, foozball table, t.v. and communal living areas. Airlines will let you bring a cooler too!

Poker night is some Mondays! BBQ & Pizza nights are also scheduled! Movie Night-Bring some DVDs please! Surf movies accepted as barter!

Visiting yoginis and yogis are sometimes here and offer free yoga classes. We offer work exchange for anyone interested in teaching yoga. THIS JAN. 11, TANYA IS BACK. She teaches a vibrant blend of yoga!

It's all set in a laidback atmosphere only the Bahamas can offer. Explore the native marine forest surrounding our property and walk to three nearby bars/restaurants.

Also -- wireless internet access! Hook into our wireless internet router! Bring a WiFi device. Free wireless. Internet is UP!

We offer coffee with your rental -- PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN MUG!!!!!! Whole coffee beans always accepted as barter item. Bring the good stuff if possible! =)

Directions

Fly directly from South Florida (Fort Lauderdale & Miami) to North Eleuthera and Governor's Harbour airports. OR fly into Nassau and hop a flight from there to Eleuthera or take a ferry or mailboat! Upon landing in Eleuthera take a taxi to Surfer's Haven - we are about a 30-minute drive from either airport and are 2 miles south of Gregory Town.
