Countryside accommodation composed of six self-catering apartments located on a hilltop in the small village of Cannara, 12 km far from Assisi and 23 km far from Perugia.

It is a superb base for visiting the region due to the central location and a relaxing place among olive-groves and vineyards with a stunning view over some of the most beautiful medieval villages such as Assisi, Bevagna, Spello, Montefalco, Trevi.

It is a destination that is perfect for an intimate break for the two of you, for a memorable holiday for the whole family, for a cultural holiday for students and for pilgrims visiting Assisi.

Our apartments are composed of a dining room with a kitchen corner and a sofa bed for 1-2 people, a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom.

Nonna Rana is a popular choice for people of all ages and make for an idyllic vacation at any time of the year.

Staying at Nonna Rana offers you the chance to come and go as you please.

You can cook in your finely appointed kitchenette or, if you do not feel like cooking, some good restaurants in the area await your visit. We can also prepare some simple and genuine traditional dishes for you, in the case you have no car or you are tired after a day of sightseeing and do not like to go out for dinner.

The nearest village is Cannara, 4 kilometres away. At Cannara there are supermarkets, chemist's, restaurants, post office, banks etc.

There are some buses leaving from Cannara to Foligno which is an important railway junction.
The trip Cannara-Foligno lasts 30 minutes.
The nearest railway station is Assisi, 10 km far from the house. But unfortunately there are a very few buses to Assisi.

Perugia airport is 20 km far from Nonna Rana.

You need a car or we can provide transfers from/to the station/airport and visits to cities of art and places of interest on request.

-From North: exit Valdichiana- direction Perugia. Take SS75 to Assisi, Foligno, exit Cannara. Be careful, as the exit is not very clear. At Cannara , pass over the bridge and follow the left road. About 2 km later there is a cross. Turn on the right to Torgiano-Bettona-Perugia and 500 meters later turn on the left towards Collemancio and follow the signs to the house.

From South: exit Orte - take E45 to Perugia -take SS75 to Assisi, Foligno, exit Cannara. Be careful, as the exit is not very clear. At Cannara , pass over the bridge and follow the left road. About 2 km later there is a cross. Turn on the right to Torgiano-Bettona-Perugia and 500 meters later turn on the left towards Collemancio and follow the signs to the house.

Adriatica A14

-From North: exit Cesena Nord - take E45 direction Città di Castello, Perugia, then take SS75 to Assisi, Foligno - exit Cannara. Be careful, as the exit is not very clear. Turn on the right to Torgiano-Bettona-Perugia and 500 meters later turn on the left towards Collemancio and follow the signs to the house.

From South: exit Civitanova Marche - direction Foligno - direction Assisi - Perugia. Exit at Spello and follow the road to Cannara. At Cannara , pass over the bridge and follow the left road. About 2 km later there is a cross. Turn on the right to Torgiano-Bettona-Perugia and 500 meters later turn on the left towards Collemancio and follow the signs to the house.
