Hostelgate

Hostelgate is a lively backpackers hangout in the heart of Vilnius' Old Town. Situated right in the centre of Vilnius' cultural, shopping and nightlife district, our hostel is no more than a 5-10 minute walk from all the tourist attractions, including Gediminas tower, the President Palace and the Frank Zappa monument. (The bus and train stations are also a 10 minute walk away from us!)

Checkout is midday, but you can store your luggage with us for free until you leave Vilnius

If you will arrive by car: We have limited parking space for up to three cars in the locked courtyard free of charge. So, please sent us an email (you'll get our email address with the confirmation your booking) if you plan to arrive by car.

Directions

Walking from the bus and train stations (1km/10 minutes).

From the train station: go straight ahead to the junction with Cili Pica on the left corner.

From the bus station: turn left to the junction with Cili Pica on the corner.

Turn into Sodu Gatve. After 100 meters at the fork in the road take the left way (Geliu Gatve). Follow Geliu Gatve to the end and turn left onto Pylimo Gatve. After about 30 meters on Pylimo Gatve turn right into Rudninku Gatve. After about 40 meters you reach a small square. Cross the square to the opposite corner where you'll enter Mesinu gatve. Go Mesinu Gatve to the end and turn left into Vokieciu Gatve. After 100 meters turn left in Sv. Mikalojaus gatve. Now your almost there. You'll find the gate of our hostel after 30 meters on the right at Mikalojaus 3. Just ring the doorbell...

From the airport (6km)
Take bus number 1 from outside the airport to the end of the line (Stoties). This is where the bus and train stations are. Then follow the directions above to find us.
You can also take a taxi. We recommend you call

Both companies have operators and drivers who speak English, and the price should be about 30 Litas (10 EURO). If you take a taxi that's waiting outside the airport, you will pay 50-60 Litas (15-20 EURO).
