The Zeeland coast is stunning with gorgeous beaches to walk along or go swimming in, during the summer. Bicycle trips or hikes through the dunes offer splendid views. A Medieval castle rises out of the forest near the sea. This is your hostel, Stayokay Domburg.

Stayokay Domburg is housed in a very special building: Castle Westhove. The 13th century castle, complete with turrets and moat, is within walking distance of the beach. Most of the rooms are in the castle, but some of them are in the two carriage houses. The rooms have bunkbeds with sheets and they have their own sanitary facilities. Please bring your own towels, as we do not provide them. The cosy bar with piano is situated in the main castle, where guests meet. In summer you can come together on the terrace with its amazing view of the dunes.

Stayokay has 30 hostels throughout the Netherlands and is part of the Hostelling International network. You'll find our hostels in the cities Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Den Haag, but also at the beach, in the woods and along the water. Stayokay hostels are housed in different unique buildings, ranging from modern facilities to castles or country houses. No matter where, you will find a relaxed atmosphere, giving you an opportunity to meet fellow travellers.
Hostelling International members receive 2,50 per person per night upon arrival.

Directions

Public transport
From Middelburg trainstation (15 km) take busline 52 to Domburg. Get off at busstop 'Kasteel Westhove' and walk the last 200 meters to the castle.
Private transport: From the A58 motorway take the Domburg exit. Follow the signs to Domburg. The hostel is located between Oostkapelle and Domburg on the right. From the parking lot one can walk to the hostel. From April 1 till October 31, between 8.00 and 18.00, one has to pay for the parking. Costs are € 0,80 per hour or € 4,50 per day. For the transport of your luggage we offer a trolley which one can use.
