Pousada Dos Duendes

Pousada dos Duendes is situated in the small town of Lençois and is only a 5 minute walk from the town centre. We are highly recommended in various travel guides, including the Lonely Planet and Footprint, so feel free to check us out there!

We specialize in accommodating backpackers and independent travellers of all ages, offering a variety of rooms varying from dormitories to private suites with bathroom, veranda, hammock and a gorgeous mountain view.

Our staff can arrange all your excursions into the National Park, varying from day trips to multiple day trekking tours. All our guides have years of experience and all speak ENGLISH, with SPANISH speaking guides also being available.

Our common area is the meeting place for travellers from all over the world - relaxing and comfortable! We have a snooker table, giant chess set and music for your enjoyment.

TAP (Air Portugal) and Varig Airlines have international flights into Salvador. Other international carriers fly to São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro and take an internal flight to Salvador.

At Salvador airport:

Take a taxi or local bus to the bus station, 'rodoviaria' in Portugesese, and take the Real Expresso bus to which runs daily at 23.30 and at 07.00 to Len糩s. Buses take approximately 6 hours and cost R$37.00.
Or
Take the weekly, on Saturday flight with Oceanair from Salvador to Lençóis. The flight time is approximately 50 minutes.

Entram run buses daily via Seabra. The journey takes approximately 30 hours and cost R$90.00, times vary.
