HELP US CATCH THAT DARNED GOOSE...!  The most visited independent hostel in the Fort William area.  Comfortable backpackers hostel with great views of Ben Nevis from the village.  Dating back to 1830 this is the last remaining wing of the old Banavie Hotel, which was destroyed by fire in 1924. When passing by on the train in 1873 Queen Victoria may have waved to us. Maybe she stayed the night! Popular with walkers, climbers, 3-peakers, independent travelers and all. Take a walk by Neptunes Staircase, or enjoy a drink in the famous Lochy Bar. Perhaps take a ride on the \'Harry Potter Train\' to Mallaig?  Come and enjoy this amazing hostel.    YOU\'LL LOVE IT...!

Directions

By Bus

Fort William Bus Station is 2.5 miles away. Glen Nevis Bus service (#41) runs to Glen Nevis, timetable depedent on the season.

By Train

Fort William Station is 2.5 miles away.

By Car

From the South, bypass Fort William and follow signs to Inverness until you come to a small roundabout. Go straight ahead and Glen Nevis Hostel is 2.5 miles down this road on the right hand.

From the North or West, turn left at the small roundabout (there is a sign for Glen Nevis), the Hostel is 2.5 miles along the road on the right hand side.

On Foot

Turn left out of the train/bus station on to Belford Road. Pass the hospital and Lochaber Leisure Centre. Go straight on at the mini roundabout just past Glen Nevis Campsite (approx 2.5 miles).
