Comfort :
Metal beds that have large safe stairs to access the upper bunk.
A large secure locker that will hold all your baggage is located under your bed.
Each room is climate controlled with modern silent split air-conditioning + fans and have private bathrooms in your room.
Location
Located in the safest district of Salvador (Barra) you will find Barra Guest Hostel. Nestled in a quaint tree lined residential street right next to one of Salvador's most fashionable squares Jardim Brasil which boasts some of the best restaurants and music bars in the area. A five minute stroll from the HoStel and you will find yourself on the beautiful Porto da Barra beach with its own Naval fort or the Farol da Barra beach beneath its ancient Light House (First Light House in South America) where you can play in the warm Atlantic surf. Access to the old Historical City of Pelourinho is 10 min by taxi or 15 min bus ride away

If your arrival time is after 22:00 you must produce a hard copy of your booking confirmation before you will be permitted onto the premises.
Other Hostel Facilities
A large fully fitted + equipped guest kitchen with microwave, cooker, fridge and storage space. The HoStel is spacious and has several relaxed social areas both inside and out. We have preserved the colonial style of this old property with its high ceilings and large rooms so you will never feel like you are cramped. Spacious lounge, outside area for chill out.

Free from 08:15 to 10:00
If you wish an earlier breakfast, please contact the reception for the payment.
A 50% deposit is required in addition to the deposit you paid Hostelworld. The deposit must be paid to Barra Guest Hostel soon after making your booking with Hostelworld. Please contact the hoStel for further informations.
Deposits are non refundable, Bookings are not transferable.
Directions
From the main bus station, or the Rodovi�ria:
Cross the elevated walkway over the expressway and catch the Pra�a de S� bus in front of Iguatami Shopping Center. Stay on the bus until the last stop (Pra�a de S�). At Rua de Chile take a right and walk past the Elevador Lacerda, and keep walking in that direction until you encounter Terreiro de Jesus and the Cathedral. Take the street that has the open air restaurant, Cantina de Lua, on the corner and an old school of medicine accross the street.
From the Aeroporto Lu�s Eduardo Magalh�es:
Take an ' �nibus executivo' to Pra�a da S�. Stay on it until the last stop.Then take the same route as above.
