Mo Cafe And Bar

In the middle of the spectaculair mountains of Guangxi, a beautifull part of China, is situated the city of Yangshuo. It is easy to travel to from Guangzhou or Guilin and a very relaxed location. There are many activities to do, such as hiking, biking, rock-climbing, floating on one of the rivers, fishing with cormorants and lots more. In the city there is a variety of shops, bars and restaurants and a good location to sleep is Mo's café and bar. On contrary of what the name suggests, on ground Floor there is a quiet place to drink. The rooms are good and cheap and the beds are OK. The hostel is situated in town-centre, has wifi, laundry-service and as surprise for staying: half an hour massage for free. It is very professional and therefore I booked more. On the whole a very relaxed staying after travelling a lot yet.

Directions

From the airport:
If you want to use a taxi, we can arrange a taxi to pick you up (Y250-300). We advise you to contact us first (at least a day in advance) so we have time to prepare.


If you want to use a bus, from the airport you first need to take a shuttle bus to the centre of Guilin (Y25, please tell the driver you will get off close to train station 火车站) or a taxi (about Y100). Then you must take another bus from the railway station or bus station to Yangshuo (Y15/person) and it takes 1.5 hours.


From the nearest train station in Guilin:

You can take a bus 1.5 hours (Y18/person), the latest leaving at 10pm. You can also take a boat on the Li River (but you must be in Guilin before 8:00am and you must book the boat ticket beforehand) and arrive in Yangshuo in under five hours.

There are also other buses from Guangzhou and other destinations.

From Yangshuo bus station:
It takes a total of 10- 15 minutes after you get off. When you arrive at the bus station, please walk down to Pan Tao Rd to West Street (8 mins). You will see 'KFC' on your right, walk 1 min and turn left onto ChengZhong Rd. Continue for 2 min, go over the bridge, continue another 2 min, and turn right at the crossroads. You will see 'Mo Cafe and Bar' on your left!
By the way don't trust any local guide. Sometimes they will tell you wrong place or let you walk very long way. Please call Julie if you can't find the hostel, I am always at your service.
