Sunset House offers affordable, clean accommodation for those who love to dive or snorkel and don't mind staying a short 15-minute drive or $10 taxi ride away from Grand Cayman's Seven Mile Beach. There is no beach on premises, but there is a pool with a waterfall and Jacuzzi and a sea pool cut into the rocky shore. Coral reefs are steps away, and there is a small beach just down the road at Smith's Cove. The overall feeling here is that of a cozy tropical enclave. All rooms are air-conditioned and have cable TV, radio alarm clock, phone with data port and a private bath with piped-in drinking water.<br><br>The Hotel is located in a pleasant, residential area, and the chance to wobble your way into a shore dive or snorkel around a sunken 9ft. gold Mermaid just 100 yards offshore tends to make aquatic enthusiasts giddy with excitement. This also helped earn Sunset House the #1 Shore Dive rank by Sport Diver magazine. Sunset Divers is a PADI-certified operator located on premises, offering dive gear and tank rental, SCUBA instruction and trips for diving or to Stingray City. The pleasant seaside Sea Harvest restaurant provides breakfast, lunch and dinner, while My Bar is a perfect place to catch the sunset.<br>.
