The Bed & Breakfast Journal announced in their December 2001 issue that Victorian Treasure Inn is "One of the Top 15 Inns for Wine Tasting". Now we don’t profess to know much about wine, but you can tour one of the best wineries in the country, Wollersheim Winery, just twelve miles down the road. Wollersheim Winery is on the eastern bluff of the Wisconsin River, and is on the National Register of Historic Places. Their wines have gained national recognition, and they have an enjoyable and interesting tour! Take a look at their web site for upcoming special events. Other good wineries in the area include Botham Vineyards & Winery in Barneveld, Spurgeon Vineyard in Highland and Cedar Creek Winery in Cedarburg. Cedar Creek Winery is the sister winery to Wollersheim Winery.

Guests of Victorian Treasure Inn also gather each evening in the Bissell Mansion parlors for a glass of wine and some wonderful Wisconsin cheeses.

ALL GUESTS enjoy an evening wine and cheese reception and a full, three course gourmet breakfast, both included in the lodging rate.

Wine & Cheese Daily in Bissell Mansion ParlorAll guest accommodations provide a private bath, queen bed with quality goose down comforter and pillows, radio with CD player, full length custom made robes, 100% Egyptian cotton towels, hair dryer, iron, herbal bath grains, and premium imported soaps. The historic buildings have been equipped to provide all accommodations with forced-air heating in the winter, and central air conditioning in the summer.

Victorian Treasure Inn, located in the small town of Lodi, offers eight unique, antique-appointed guestrooms in two National Historic Register Queen Anne Victorians and a 1928 Craftsman Guest House. Guests enjoy the gracious hospitality and casual elegance of the 1897 Bissell Mansion - with a formal front parlor, sitting room with original fireplace, and expansive wrap-around veranda. The Bissell Mansion was built by renowned local architect-builder, Carl Menes. The home features ornate leaded and stained glass windows, five sets of pocket doors, combination gas-electric chandeliers, original coal fireplace with Italian tile, hand carved mantle and original mirror glass. All original features for this award winning Wisconsin Bed and Breakfast Inn.

Description of Rooms/Suites

Our six Romantic suites also include a spacious two-person whirlpool bath, stereo system with cassette and CD, large cable television with VCR-DVD, in-room coffeemaker, microwave, and bar refrigerator. An antique-mantle gas fireplace and wet bar is also provided in each Hutson House suite. Breakfast room service is provided as a special amenity to guests in our Romantic Suites only.

The 1892 Hutson House is next door on the property and features four romantic whirlpool suites with antique-mantle gas fireplaces. There are so many lovely details! Please review the accommodations page to learn more about our guest rooms and suites. The Angelica Suite in the home features original stained glass, pocket doors and chandeliers.

The following services are available in the privacy of your guestroom:

Swedish Massage
Provides total body relaxation through long flowing strokes using oil that stimulates the lymphatic system and aids circulation.

Deep Tissue Massage, Athletic Performance
Massages the stiffness while improving blood circulation and oxygen intake with this full body massage or focus on a specific muscle group to alleviate pain and to heal.

Acupressure Massage
The shiatsu massage technique helps to improve health and well-being by applying special pressures at the meridians of the body.

All of the above massage treatments are $75 for 60 minutes or $100 for 90 minutes. A special couple’s massage (one therapist) for 90 minutes total is $110.

Because our spa professionals are specialized in their treatments, advance notice is usually necessary in order to accommodate your treatment needs.

Restrictions

Rooms are single or double occupancy and subject to state, local and county sales tax.

Additional persons limited to Orchid and Angelica Suites during midweek, non-holiday periods and pre-arrangement only - $25 per extra person Angelica, $35 in Orchid.

Two night minimum stay required if Saturday night is included May - October and Holiday weekends. Click on 'Check Availability' for any open Saturday only. Three night minimum during some holiday periods and special events. No mi mum stay requirement December - April!!!!

Victorian Treasure is a non-smoking Inn. For your comfort, smoking is NOT permitted on the verandas, porches or in any building.

Directions

Twenty miles north of Madison on Interstate 90/94, exit #119 (Highway 60/Lodi) west. Continue four miles to town. At Main Street/Highway 113, continue straight ahead on Highway 60 one block. Turn right at the first road on the right, Prairie Street (historic building Hotel Lodi is on the corner).

The Bissell house is the second building on the left. Please come to the front door to check-in. There are no parking restrictions on Prairie Street, and ample parking is also available behind the Inn buildings.
