The ALE in Braunes is a charming and confortable hostel. The facilities were set to promote cultural interchange through guest integration.

With our informal atmosphere, everyone is free to mingle, make friends, or to sit down and relax, watching the nature around our hostel, offering a beautiful view. Here you will find the warmth that only a family can offer.

Directions

Nova Friburgo is located 80 miles (130km) off the town of Rio de Janeiro. At the Novo Rio Bus Station, take a 1001 Company Bus to Nova Friburgo.
The hostel is in the CURVA DA MACUMBA - BRAUNES:

Go to the Tourism Information Center and ask about the Albergue da Juventude.
If you get in Friburgo before 8pm, you can take a bus, lines Vargem Alta, Toledo, Bela Vista or Braunes, at the Integration Bus Station and ask the driver to stop at Curva da Macumba (Macumba Corner), close to the Albergue (hostel).
